Qualifying 1
My
first
visit to this circuit, and with a newly rebuilt gearbox and clutch. I spent most
of the 1st qualifying session learning the circuit. I qualified
5th from 20 cars in the wet, although the car had too low a top gear.

Race 1
After a
good start to race 1, getting to 3rd behind Richard Purcell and Jonathon Lewis, I span in the wet and lost 14 places.
I fought back to 11th, then the race was red flagged on lap 4.

Qualifying 2 was very wet, and I ended up 10th from 21 cars.

Race 2
Due to the incorrect gearing
limiting my top speed to around 120mph, I was
pushing very hard in the corners and span again, losing 4 places. I made enough
back to eventually finish 10th. Another disappointing weekend. Both races were won by
Jonathon Lewis. |
